Hidden Persuasion

These icons describe the 33 principles of "hidden persuation" by marc andrews. This book analyzes advertising beyond the persuasive power of the imagery itself. It explains the psychology behind 33 effective infl uence techniques in visual persuasion and how to apply them. For instance: "He who laughs is defenceless." One third of all ads are intended to be humorous. why? well, Because it works! E.g. an unusual, strange, or unexpected element in a comercial. In order to fit with the rest of the icons, i've chosen a hand puppet. most of us have grown up with one of these puppets, because it's used in most elementary schools.
